For those that don’t have the space for a wider fire pit but want a bigger fire; step up into this handcrafted 30” Hemisphere Fire Pit on Legs which sits approximately 22” off the ground. This fire pit is all hand-welded; it has a tripod legs system for a base, custom hand forged handles, has a 1⁄2” drain hole to keep water out and comes with a free handcrafted 46” Fire Poker. This Fire Pit is designed to easily service 2-10 people at any gathering.

The 30 inch Hemisphere Fire Pit on Legs is the first of our cauldron style fire pits.  Reminiscent of ancient witch’s cauldrons this fire bowl or cauldron will give you a nice long fire without taking up a whole lot of space on your patio.  It’s not a witch’s cauldron, but what you do with your 30″ Hemisphere Fire Pit on Legs is up to you.  I know some of you might think you know a witch or two.

Made using the same tough all American made steel and passing the S&S Fire Pits quality check this fire pit is sure to give you and your witch many hours of fun.

Coming in at 22″ finished height and weighing only 76 lbs, its going to give you and yours truly a much longer and bigger fire without taking up any more space than our 30″ Elliptical Fire Pits.  Also, having more steel means more radiant heat for those chilly nights and this pit will easily keep 2-10 of your closest friends warm on those nights.

If you like to camp this is a great fire pit for that.  Longer fires, more heat and cooking on this 22″ tall fire pit is a breeze.  You can keep the fire going all weekend if you want.  It’s simple yet super efficient and like all our fire pits, its going to outlast you and I.

As with all our fire pits don’t forget the 30″ Snuffer and the 30″ Cooking Grate, especially if you camp they are both a must have.  If you think 30″ is too small then step up into our 37″ Hemisphere Fire Pit on Legs and call up 20 of your closest friends for a real fire pit party.

Have them bring their own rib eye and don’t forget to have them bring one for you.  A nice bottle of Kentucky Bourbon also goes well with your wood fired steak.

      Actual Dimensions are 31 1/2" 16 lbs FIRE PITS SOLD SEPARATE All our snuffer lids are designed for the peace of mind. They will suffocate a fire at the end of the night so you can go to bed without worrying. They can also double as a lid to keep the outside elements out of your pit. They are made using high quality plate steel.   Steel will oxidize and form an outside layer of rust which will help to protect the internal steel.  Your snuffer will eventually match the same patina as your fire pit, which goes through the exact same process.  The oxidation process is a natural process which is controlled by the environment in which it is in.  Furthermore, it's not a great idea to leave wet ashes in your fire pit. Wet ash turns into lye and lye is chemical that reacts with steel. Our pits are too thick to worry about, but we do not recommend leaving wet ashes at all in your fire pit ever. Our snuffer lids are the next best thing we sell next to our fire pits. By using thick gauge steel, we slow the process down significantly.  You may choose to paint your snuffer with a high temp paint which will form a bonding layer between the steel and the outside elements, but you may find yourself doing this once a year.  Otherwise, you can choose to let the natural process occur and simply leave it alone.
